* Butch holds a regular ballroom/Latin dance socials at the Radisson Hotel Piscataway, usually on the last Sunday of the month, located at 21 Kingsbridge Road, Piscataway NJ 08854. Buffet dinner, 5 hours of dancing for only $30.00 per person. Open to the public. Open to singles, couples, groups. Open to beginners, intermediate and advance dancers. * Butch,on occasion, schedule a Friday ballroom/Latin dance socials at the brand new East Ocean Banquet Hall  (on selected Fridays ONLY, call for exact dance schedule), located at 560 Stelton Road Piscataway NJ 2008.  Open to the public ballroom/Latin dance-dinner socials. Open to singles, couples and groups. Open for birthday, anniversary or other celebrations. A good way to socialize and meet other ballroom dancers. A good place to practice all your dance moves. This is a mixed crown of beginners, intermediate and advance dancers. The buffet dinner is excellent with over 130 dishes. Great dance music!!! Several Dance Instructors (DIs) are available (up to 10 DIs). A session or two of line dancing to add spice to the event. Come and join us for a memorable time. *  Also, ONLY on special schedule, another Ballroom/Latin/Line dance socials, open to the public, at the Ramada Inn NEW BRUNSWICK on selected selected dates, from 7:00 PM to 12:00 PM. *  NEW, NEW, NEW  Butch will start holding ballroom/Latin/line dance socials at the million$$$ renovated RAMADA INN SOMERSET, starting Valentine's Day Feb 13, 2009, a Saturday, located at 60 Cottontail Lane, Somerset, NJ 08873. Time 7:00 PM to 12:00 MN. Price - $30.00 per person. Dance at Somerset Ramada Inn be be schedules on selected Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays. So, watch for announcements, or check dance schedule at www.djaabutch.com, under "Events".

* Butch offers a regular group ballroom/Latin DANCE CLASS on Tuesdays, 7:30 to 9:30 PM, at The Durham Center, Bldg 108, located at One Ethel Road, Edison, NJ 08817. Only $7.50 an hour for lessons.

* Butch also conducts private dance lessons by appointment, especially on weekends. Private lessons can be arranged for a single person, a pair, or a group.

* Butch also choreographs for wedding first dance, father-daughter dance, and sweet 16 cotillion presentations and other showcase numbers.

* In addition, Butch is a party planner and he will take care of your party venue, DJ, EMCEE, games, program and agenda, etc. He can book your parties at the various hotels and restaurants that he is affiliated with. Prices are very low and reasonable as long as the party is booked through Butch Artes Entertainment.

Butch is the sole person behind Butch Artes Entertainment. He is no stranger to showbusiness and entertainment. In fact, Butch is a true triple threat - a dancer, a singer, and an actor. Through the years, he has appeared in quite a number of plays and shows in New York and New Jersey.

So, what is Butch's showbiz background?

* Let's start with his being a singer. Butch is a trained high baritone singer. He studied musical theater and classical voice for four years at the world famous Juilliard School of Music in Manhattan, New York. He studied voice technique and song presentation at HB Studios, Greenwich Village, New York. He appeared and performed in several of Juilliard's mini productions, singing numbers from Broadway shows like West Side Story, Oklahoma, Closer than Ever, The Pajama Game, How to Succeed in Business, Jekyll and Hyde, Miss Saigon, and many more. He was part of the Manhattan based Village Light Opera Group (VLOG) and appeared in Gilbert and Sullivan's Patience production among others. He gave a couple of concerts in the New Jersey area.

* As an actor, Butch attended The Herbert Berghof Studios in New York and studied acting technique, scene study, and movement for actors. He appeared in plays like The Odd Couple, Hurly-Burly, Cactus Flower, Misery and others. He played a major role in The Torch Song Trilogy presented in New York University Acting Studio class.

* As a dancer, Butch first took jazz and hip pop dance classes at The Manhattan Motions dance school, then attended The Steps dance school, located in Manhattan. He eventually performed in a couple of New York nightclubs as part of the Manhattan Motions dance troupe. Then he studied ballroom and Latin dances with Russian dance instructors at Paragon and other dance studios in New Jersey and also took private lessons from several high ranked world ballroom champions. With his dance training background, Butch started working with various NJ disc jockeys as a DI (dance instructor) in countless of weddings, sweet 16 and fund raising events covering the past five years.

* From there, Butch expanded his services to include being a DJ himself, an event/party planner for corporate companies, and hosting the popular ballroom/Latin dance socials at Radisson Hotel (on Sundays), Embassy Suite Hotel, Grand Buffet Restaurant, more recently at the Ramada Inn Convention Center (on Fridays), and other party venues. He will soon start hosting a regular  Saturday dance socials. Please watch for details and announcements.

To add to his triple-threat status, Butch is an accomplished EMCEE and public speaker, thanks to his extensive experience and training from The Toastmaster International organization for the past ten years. Butch is a very poised EMCEE who is full of energy, motivation and spontaneity. The TMI is a world famous organization for public speaking and leadership with over 10,000 clubs around the world. He recently was the President of the Blue Expressions Club, a corporate TMI club in Newark, New Jersey.  Currently, he serves as an adviser and mentor to many public speakers, he is also the sponsor and mentor to many MBA students at Rutgers University in Newark.
